This guide from Asedeeq Travels explains how Nigerian passport holders apply for the Indonesia eVisa (C1/C2 Visit Visa), requirements, costs, processing time, sponsor rules, extensions, and how we can help you apply without embassy visits.
The Indonesia eVisa (Visit/Tourist) commonly listed in industry resources as the C1/C2 single-entry Tourist/Visit visa (and formerly issued as B211A in many markets) is an electronic single-entry visitor visa that permits tourism, family/social visits, and certain types of business meetings (non-working). It is issued electronically after application on the Indonesian e-Visa platform.
Key point: If you see “B211A” in older content, it refers to the same visit-visa family that industry sources now often label “C1/C2.” Always confirm on the official e-Visa site for the exact label used at time of application.
All Nigerian passport holders require a visa before travel to Indonesia. Indonesia is not visa-free for Nigerian passports and Nigerians are not included on the standard Visa-on-Arrival lists. If your travel purpose is tourism, visiting friends/family, or attending meetings as an attendee, the C1C2 (Visit/Tourist) e-visa is typically the correct category. (MOLINA, Bali.com)
Initial stay: up to 60 days on arrival.
What it does NOT permit: paid local employment or long-term work without the correct work permit (ITAS/KITAS).

Q: Can Nigerians get a Visa on Arrival (VoA) for Indonesia?
A: No. Nigerian passport holders are generally not eligible for Visa on Arrival and must apply for the Visit/Visit e-visa (C1) before travel. Always confirm on the official portal.
Q: Is the Indonesia eVisa for Nigerians the “C1/C2” visa?
A: Yes. In 2025 the Visit/Tourist visa commonly used by overseas applicants (previously referenced as B211A) is now widely listed in industry resources as the C1/C2 single-entry Visit/Tourist visa. Always verify the label shown on the official Indonesia e-Visa portal when you apply. (Bali Visas, flado.id)
Q: Is Yellow Fever vaccination required?
A: Proof of yellow fever vaccination may be required if arriving from a country/area that WHO/CDC list as having yellow fever risk. Nigeria is listed among countries that may trigger this requirement. Carry your WHO yellow card if applicable. (CDC Travel Health, WHO CDN)
Q: Can I work on an Indonesia Visit/Tourist visa?
A: No. Paid work requires the appropriate work permit/visa (ITAS/KITAS). C1 is for tourism, family/social visits, and certain non-working meetings.
